Our short text is The Boy who cried Wolf
In this short story the gets taught a lesson not
to lie(tell the truth) or there are consequences
He lies once when nothing happens but when
the wolf comes no one listens.
Convention Example 1
In the Boy who cried Wolf the story has a
forest and village like setting which is very
common in Folklore.
Convention Example 2
In the genre Folklore, animals commonly play
the role of the antagonist-villain.
In The Boy who cried Wolf the antagonist is a
Wolf.
Convention Example 3
Many folklore stories have a young child (boy
or girl) as the protagonist hero.
In this short text a young boy acts as the hero
but also as the problem because of his lies.
