The purpose of making a piece of text blink or flash
is to add emphasis to the words. But for the visually

A simple technology, consisting of a straw through
which the user can send two separate input signals
to a device: a positive-pressure signal (puff) and a
negative-pressure signal
(suck, or sip), allowing those
with no use of the hands to still
work with technological devices.
When the alt tag is added to a graphic
image, it provides a verbal description
of that image and renders it in audio
form, so that blind users of the
technology can receive an audible
description of the graphics contents.
