CHILDREN WITH SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS

Background
Lupus nephritis (LN) is a major cause of
morbidity and mortality in patients with
systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
Children are more likely to develop severe
nephritis than elderly patients. Delayed on
the detection and diagnosis of SLE might
give unfavorable outcome of patients with
LN.
Objective
This study was aimed to identify the clinical
manifestation of lupus nephritis among
hildren with SLE.
Methods
We collected data retrospectively from SLE
patients, who were admitted to RS. Dr. Kariadi
both outpatient clinic and inpatient ward from
January 2014-May 2016.
