more value on family, health and interaction
with nature towards building a better quality
of life.
 Coexistence With Nature

Humans are a part of the global ecosystem.

As such we need to maintain and restore the
rich and diverse natural environment, in
order to achieve a LCS by securing CO2
absorption to adapt to global warming.
How to develop a Low Carbon
Society in Iskandar
Malaysia?
 In line with the development of Iskandar
Malaysia, it will be very much favourable
if Low Carbon Society can be implemented
there so that the area will be free from
contamination of carbon.
 Firstly trees or plants should be planted wherever
necessary mainly in housing areas so that they could make
the place look fresh and green. It could develop greenery
environment in par with the rapid development of
industries which will provide a balance surrounding to the
society living there.

Secondly, solar panels should be fixed in almost all the

houses, schools, companies and other suitable buildings so
that it could conserve more electricity as well as reduce
the amount of carbon emission.

Thirdly, numerous public transports should be offered so

that the society could use the public transports to move
around. This could reduce the amount of carbon emission
whereby the society will lower the use of their own
transport that will contribute more carbon emission.
Daily Habits That Cause

 We all unthinkingly leave lights on when we are not in the
room, or switch off the TV by the remote instead of at the wall

We have managed to create a system with
the help of the parents teachers
organization (PIBG) to have a single
transportation medium for students at our
school.
This basically means , a single bus/ van will
be used to bring and forth the students (
almost 80% ) from school to home. This
system largely cuts down the carbon
emission from the multiple number of
vehicles that used to be driven by parents.
Our goal is to bring this idea to more
schools in Malaysia so that less
vehicles will be used to send students
to school.
