DBS3900 Wi-MAX Components
DBS3900 is a distributed base station which consists of one BBU and several
RRUs.
The type of BBU is BBU3900, and the RRU type is RRU3232, RRU3702.
BTS uses the CPRI (Common Public Radio Interface) interface to connect the
baseband module and the RF module.

LMPT
The LMPT performs the following functions:
Performs O&M, such as configuration management, equipment management,
performance monitoring, signaling processing, and radio resource management.
Manages all boards in the system.
Provides the system clock.
Exchanges signaling between the base station (BS) and the access service
network gateway (ASN-GW).

The BMPT performs the following functions:

LBBP
The LTE baseband processing unit (LBBP) processes baseband signals.
The LBBP performs the following functions:
Processes uplink and downlink baseband signals.
Provides common public radio interface (CPRI) ports for communication
between the baseband unit (BBU) and the remote radio unit (RRU).

BBBI
The BWA baseband processing and radio interface unit (BBBI) processes
baseband signals and provides (RF) interfaces.
The LBBP performs the following functions:
Processes uplink and downlink baseband signals.

UPEU
UPEU: Universal Power and Environment interface Unit, 1+1 backup.
Two UPEU can be configured for each BBU at most.
Provides power for the baseband subrack, with an input of 48V DC and an
output of +12V DC.
Provides RS485 environment monitoring interfaces and dry contact interfaces.
