 Motivation is the activation or energization of goal


oriented behavior
 One of the most important and underlying factors
that drives every human being to reach their goals
is motivation. This includes both personals as well
as professionals goals and targets..
 Motivation is not just important for one’s own self
but it is important in organization's where
employees need to be motivated to achieve better
results for the company.
 Without motivation a person wouldn’t be able to
achieve anything in life which he has set for him
 Motivation is the essence of successful organization

 Conduct regular activities involving many
members and each member should be provided
with the check list of responsibilities
 Keep members updated on organizational
activities and other happenings of the society

to delegate responsibilities among members. Try
to get inactive members involved.

key persons involved in the project &give due
recognition in the media releases.

 For HOD money is the motivator but it is not the only thing that
motivates him because for an HOD taking the organization or his
department to the top is the most important thing
 HOD most craves for respect and promotion
 Praise and recognition are placed very high on the H.OD’s mind
and not money
Clerk:-
 Money is his most important motivator and nothing else motivates
him as such as money.
 A clerk is not worried about the development of an organization
but he is worried about his task for the day and his salary
 Salary is most important because a clerk has to run his family
from that money and he doesn’t belong to a rich back ground .
Management
H.O.D is a very important part of management,he is an
important aspect of managing business activities,he is
concerned with framing plans and policies and accomplish those
himself to achieve the organizational objectives .

The management of an organization should provide incentives


to the clerk for performing tasks better and quicker. By providing
incentives, greater efficiencies can be gained in an organization.
Thus organizations goals and objectives could be achieved
quicker and the organization can make more profits. Incentives
helps to motivate the clerk .
Job security
It is belived that most people have some
plan worked out to guide their behavior while on the job.
Towards doing things which will keep the employee.
This is probably part of the survival instinct.Employees
are motivated by permanent jobs rather than
employment on long term basis.Permanent jobs enables
the employees to work with dedication and application.

To show the boss that the employee is working hard
towards the accomplishment of goals.
To develop his trust and give him confidence that he can
always count on the employee to get the job done.
