Why need a Conflict?
MINDSET
Organisasi (RS) selalu menghadapi konflik -- internal
dan eksternal; konflik antara siapa??
Latar belakang konflik: harus diidentifikasi
- Pendidikan
- Budaya
- Aturan yang mengatur (salah mengerti aturan)
Sampai seperti apa konflik??
Identifikasi level konflik:
- level tertinggi : tidak tegur sapa
- konflik dalam rapat/pertemuan bagus
Organisasi (RS) harus berproses sebagai suatu Tim; Oleh
karena itu konflik harus dikelola secara tepat;
Pengelolaan Konflik dan Tim memerlukan Manajer yang
mempunyai jiwa/nilai Leadership;
Pengelolaan Konflik dan Tim harus mempunyai tujuan
strategis yang jelas -- Yaitu terciptanya Budaya Organisasi
(Organizational Culture).

Conflict is

a periodic occurrence in any
relationship;
an opportunity to
understand opposing
preferences and values;

Two essential concepts in any
conflict:
Divergent views; and
Incompatibility of those views.
Is Conflict Bad?
If not controlled, can interfere with the organizations
ability to meet its goals.
The confrontation of divergent views often
produces ideas of superior quality.

Bureaucratic View?
In classical bureaucratic organizations, conflict
is something to be suppressed and avoided:
Organizations should be smooth running,
harmonious and ordered;
Use of control and structure to manage
conflict.
