chain' where an error can reach the patient and makeover nurses have
traditionally been blamed for the MEs?

Because nurses are key to implementing

successful interventions to minimize
Maes is a way to understand how and
why they occur. nurses can also find out
that the drug is dangerous or not the
patient.
2. What were the causes of MAE?

The cause of the error medication contained in the

journal is wrong in reading the label and failed to
administer drugs or careless due to a heavy workload
and lack of staff at the time of practice in public
hospitals , as well as errors when checking the rules of
the drug dose given to the patient.

responsible for the MAEs?

The part of health care team who has the most

responsibility for the Medication Administration
Errors(MAEs) is the chief. It happens because the
chief is a personwith the most important position in a
company such as hospital, and the first two more
important tasks of the chief are giving intructions and
supervission to the nurses to take care of the patients.
As a result, if the cheif gives the unclear or incorrect
intructions and the poor supervision to the nurses, the
can bring about the MEAs.

pharmacy dispending errors(14,102)

6. Please find an example of MAEs case which had been happened in
indonesian and discussion in your group, the health professional who
should take responsibiliy for that case!

Indonesia as a developing country and is a country which is quite sought after by foreign
countries. First, because it has a great market potential is related to the largepopulation that is more
than 200 million inhabitants. Second, right now it's the condition of Indonesia's economic growth is
promising. With a huge market potential is not surprising if someday many doctors or health
workers who intend to work in Indonesia. This seems scary health profession, because of the fear to
compete, as we know the quality of our human resources for health is low and limited mastery of
technology.
Health workers in Indonesia face the globalization era will
be faced with two options: So a host in our
own country, or displaced. Or so a host in our own
country as well as the honored guest in foreign countries
7. Based on your group oppinion, who doea the best way to work as a
part of health care team so that MEAs can be avoided

According to our group , when mea especially nursing that the

nurse's role is very broad so in need of optimization in doing all the
action. nurses should be able to portray the nursing care that can be
perceived by the public to sensitize health behavior is still not good .
nurses must be able to survive and also improve the quality of the
international language and have creative ideas ( skills and skill) to
prepare for the competition of nursing in the MEA , improving the
skills of nursing competence to conduct skills training . in addition,
the nurse must also have a professional certificate and
solidity corps of nurses who gathered in PPNI
