Current ATR T2CAS PN 9000000-10008 (TCAS 7.0 & TAWS Rel 8.1)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
In both cases, after loading the new TAWS Release 9 SW, the Obstacle Database will need to
be reloaded since this TAWS update reallocated the memory from the Obstacle Database to the
Terrain Database. (See ACSS TNL # 8009093).
ATR or a Customer sends the label with the unit to be used in the upgrade. In this
case, the Customer will only be charged by ACSS for the standard shop fee
associated with the repair activity on the T2CAS product.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The ASDB and ACD software Part Number to verify will be as follow (different than the ACD and
ASDB PN ordered which is the Media CF card with the SW included).
– ATR-500
– ACD PN: 9200001-06101
– ASDB PN: 9200000-03302
– ATR-600
– ACD PN: 9200001-06802 (CFG1) or 9200001-06803 (CFG2)
– ASDB PN: 9200000-04301 (CFG1) or 9200000-04302 (CFG2)
After loading a new Terrain & Obstacle database, the Part Numbers can be verified on the
Navigation display without using the EDDIT tool. (via extended self test)
These bearing failures are usually undetected by BITE because they are usually the
result of a failed AC component or induced insertion loss in the coax cable assembly.
Recommendation:
Carefully inspect the RF connections at the antenna and if no obvious contamination
or corrosion issue is detected then replace the antenna. (See T2CAS SDIM #
8000451).
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The following IO strings parameters can only be verified on an ATR42/72-500, and not on an
ATR42/72-600. These parameters do not exist or are digital on the ATR42/72-600.
– DI_ROLL_ANGLE_VALID_1;
– DI_MAGNETIC_HEADING_VALID_1;
– DI_RADIO_ALTITUDE_VALID_1;
– DI_BELOW_DECISION_HEIGHT;
