The Projects Management Context
• The second major phase in the BOT model is build phase, where the network infrastructure
and its supporting organizations and system are put in place. This corresponds to the imple
mentation of the network and organization and service test.
• The operate and transfer phase of the BOT model corresponds to the controlled introduction
and the general availability of the service.
• In the BOT model, the service delivery organization gradually takes responsibility for day-t
o-day running of service.

Summary
• There is no unique structure that is suitable for all projects at all times.
• The main factor in the project organization is to facilitate the communication and collaborat
ion communication among the project contributors and to provide the adequate balance amo
ng the functional entities.
• The choice of a structure depends on the importance of the project, its urgency, the type of i
nnovation, the risks, and the project environment.
