What Is OnCommand Workflow Automation?
 OnCommand Workflow Automation (WFA) is a software solution that helps to automate storage
management tasks, such as provisioning, migration, decommissioning, and cloning storage.
 OnCommand Workflow Automation (WFA) supports both clustered Data ONTAP and Data ONTAP
operating in 7-Mode.

WFA license information


 No license is required for using the OnCommand Workflow Automation.

System Requirements for WFA
Hardware Requirements

 CPU 2.27 GHz or faster, 2 core, 64-bit


 RAM 4 GB
 Free disk space 20 GB

Software Requirements
 WFA runs only on a 64-bit Windows operating system and should be installed
on dedicated physical machines or VMs. You must not install any other
application on the server.
 Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition is the recommended
Windows operating system for WFA.

Backups of the Database
The database is backed up daily as a zip (.zip) file.
Default Backup is Daily @ 02:00 AM EST and last 5 backups
are retained
The file location is C:\Program Files\NetApp\WFA-Backups
on the server utprd1008.medimmune.com.
Execution Status
 Admin,Architect and Operator can check the status of completed, running,
or scheduled workflows.
