 MATKA CANYON
• The Matka Canyon is one of the most popular
outdoor adventure destinations in
Macedonia.In the canyon of Matka,right next
to the monastery of St.Andrew, there is a
restaurant with 80 seats with a garden
overlooking the beautiful Lake MATKA.
 MUSEUM THE MACEDONIAN BATTEL
• The Macedonian Battle Muuseum is a national
museum.The exhibition item covers struggle
of the Macedonian people from the bigining
of the struggle agains the Ottoman Empire to
the deklaration of independence from
Yugoslavia on September 8,1991
• Working hours of the museum:Tuesday-
Saturday 12-20 h,Sunday 12-20h.
 FORTRESS-SKOPSKO KALE
• Fortress in Skopje is one of the symbols and
the biggest attractions of the city.It is also
known as Kale, which means a fortification in
Turkish.This historically very important
fortification is located on the dominant bank
Gradiste above river Vardar.
 MONUMENT THE WARRIOR ON THE
HORSE
• A great monument and spectacular
masterpiece Delo Warrior on horseback is a
symbol of Macedonian tradition and
culture.The monument is located on the
square of Macedonia in the center of the
capital- Skopje. The monument is one of the
most interesting tourist attractions for visitors.
 CAVE BOILING
• Cave Vrelo is located in the canyon of the river
Matka.The current depth is not defined but it
is assumed that over 500 meters and thus the
cave Vrelo counts as the deepest underwater
cave in Europe.The cave was nominated for
the contest of the Seven Wonders of the
world and came to the semifinals
 THE OLD CARSIJA OF SKOPJE
The old carsija of Skopje is the largest carsija in
the Balkans outside Istanbul and is the
economic,cultural and historical part of Skopje
and one of the biggest attraction of the city.
