SOME TIPS
• Survey in batches
• Explain objectives of the survey properly
• Ensure that instructions are clear
• Ask respondent to answer based on their
own understanding of the question
• If they ask you to explain some terms, only
base explanation on DENR Code of Conduct
–do not give examples unless agreed upon
by team
SOME TIPS
• If respondents say they don’t know
the PENRO/CENRO; emphasize that
there are no right or wrong answers,
s/he can base responses on what
sees or hears from other people
• Empathize NOT sympathize
• AVOID BIAS.
