1) IMPORTANCE OF TEXT
Text is an important component used in many multimedia
applications.They are characters that are used to create words, sentences
and paragraphs.
2) IMPORTANCE OF AUDIO

Sound is one of the most important element of multimedia. It is meaningful

“speech” in any language, from a whisper to a scream. • It can provide the listening
pleasure of music, the startling accent of special effects or the ambience of a mood
setting background.
3) IMPORTANCE OF ANIMATIONS
A simulation of movement created by displaying a series of pictures, or
frames. Cartoons on television is one example
of animation.Animation on computers is one of the chief ingredients
of multimedia presentations.
4) IMPORTANCE OF VIDEO
• Is the technology of capturing , recording, processing , transmitting, and
reconstrucing moving pictures.

• Video is more towards photo realistic image sequence/ live recording as in

comparision to animation.
5) IMPORTANCE OF GRAPHIC
Graphics. ... Images that are generated by a computer are called computer graphics.
Examples are photographs, drawings, Line art, graphs, diagrams, typography,
numbers, symbols, geometric designs, maps, engineering drawings, or other images.
Graphics often combine text, illustration, and color.
