 The authors' intention in doing this
research is to find out whether lemon and salt
solution can remove rust stains on clothing.
The background of this writing is because
lemon and salt are widely available in Indonesia,
and the chemical content contained in the
lemon can remove rusty stains.
 To find out how the lemon salt solution
removes rusty stains.

 To determine the effect of the fabric that has

been cleaned with lemon and salt solution.
 Lemon fruit is a fruit that is very easy to find
in traditional markets and supermarkets. The
taste is fresh and not too sweet and the color is
yellow.
 Salt is an added ingredient in foods and
beverages containing Sodium chloride (NaCl)
compounds.
 Stains are dirt attached on a flat areas, such
as clothing, cutlery and other.

◦ Prepare tools and materials.
◦ Scrape rusty nails on 2 damp cloths to produce
rust shames on the fabric.
◦ For the first cloth, give lemon juice as much 1
fruit plus salt as much as ½ tablespoon.
◦ For the second cloth, give the lemon juice as
much as ½ piece plus 1 tablespoon of salt.
◦ Clay changes the rust and texture of the fabric
every 4 hours 2 times

 From the research results can be concluded
that the lemon and salt solution can remove
rust on the clothes, and not damage the
texture on the fabric. When you use more
lemons, the time to clean the rust is more
faster. The longer the cloth soaked lemon
and salt solution, then the rust on the cloth
will be cleaner.
 Based on the above description, we should better
utilize natural materials as a natural cleanser
 For the community, more wise in using clothes
cleaners because many use detergent is not good
for the environment because it contains harmful
to the environment.
 For the Government, more facilitate the
community to use environmentally friendly
detergent.
 Our hope as Baleendah students, better KTI starts
from the 11th grade so as not to interfere with
school exam preparation and national exam
later.
