Background

The Data UNESCO in 2011, the


prevalence of autism in the world
In Indonesia it self, autism has
with as many as 35.000.000. increased during 15 years, where
since 2000 there were 1 of 500
people.
Then, in 2010 there were 1 of
three people, and in 2015 there were
1 of 250 people.
it has estimated autism in
Indonesia about 134.000 people.
In Kepulauan Riau Province, especially in
tanjungpinang. It has estimated autism about
21 children, and there are two special school
Autism ?

Autism is developmental disorder of brain function.


Disorder has difficulty in social interaction,
communication and behavior, with symptoms that
appeared in children before the age of 3 years old.
The result from an interview with a mother of child
with autism has said “ a mother an important role
in care, while a father has to keep his eyes at work
”.

The fenomena, that a fathers role is required , especially


children with autism. Defiently, it is unable to provide a
change in autism to development of life in meaningful.
Research purposes

The general purposes : To determine the


relationship to a fathers role in care for autism
children.

Special puposes :
1) Knowing the characteristics of the
respondents (age, gender, occupation and
education)
2) Knowing of relationship to a fathers role in
care for autism children

1. Fahters with a child schooling
2. Fathers in tanjungpinang
3. Fathers of children with autism
4. Fathers in good condition
5. Respondents availability

Exclusive criterias :
1. Fahters without a child schooling
2. Fathers without in tanjungpinang
3. Fathers without of children with autism
4. Fathers in not good condition
5. Respondents unavailability
validity is an index indicating the measuring
instruments was actually measured.

The respondents who had been chosen for the


test, wouldn’t get the second chance to do the
chance.
reliability is an index indicating a measuring
instrument relible
in research using with formula “ Croanbach’s
Alpha.”
Univariate test is an analysis the aim to describe
the characteristics of each research variable

of the fathers and care for autism children.

in terms of the chi square :
1) categorical with table 2 x 2 and expected
count score < 0,05
2) If P.Value > 0,05 hypothesis is rejected
3) If P.Value < 0,05 hypothesis be accepted
