 INTRODUCTION
• Due to ever increasing simultaneous demand of heat and electricity
globally, Photovoltaic thermal (PVT) system comes out as an essential
research area in recent years
• But at temperature like 45-50 °C during summer in some areas which
degrades PVT system(temperature of PV panel reaches to 70-80 °C )
• PV module can loss upto 23% of its potential electric output power when
temperature increase about 35˚C[a]
• Commercial silicon based cell convert only 10-20% of incident light into
electricity; rest is transformed into heat[b]
• phase change materials (PCMs) offers a high thermal storage density with a
moderate temperature variation, and has attracted growing attention due to
its important role in achieving energy conservation in PV panels with
thermal comfort[c]
