 A body part system means a collective functional unit made by several organs in which

the organs work in complete coordination with one another. Organs cannot work alone
because all organs of human body need the support of other organs to perform their
functions and in this way an organ system is formed.
1.Skletal system

skeletal system is system consisting of bones and structures that build relationship(joint)
between these bones. skeleton consists of all our bones, teeth, cartilage, and joints. The
function of bone is protect ourinternal organs, provide aframework for the body (just as the
spokes of anumbrella provide a framework), red marrow that produces blood cells andyellow
marrow that also stores fat.
2.Digestive system

. Digestive system is a group of organs working together to convert food into energy and
basic nutrients to feed the entire body.
The six primary processes of the digestive system include:
Ingestion of food, secretion of fluids and digestive enzymes, mixing and movement of food
and wastes though of the body, digestion of food into smaller pieces , absorption of
nutrients,excertion of wastes.
3.Respiratory System

Through respiration we exchange gases with ourenvironment. Our cells require a

continuous supply of oxygen (O2) in order to obtain energy from food molecules. Cells
would also die if they were not able to get rid of the carbon dioxide(CO2) they
produce.
The 3 Processes of Gas Exchange:
1. In our lungs, O2 passes from the air into ourblood, and CO2 passes from our blood
into the air. Some water vapour is also released into the air
2. Our circulatory system transports O2 and CO2 to and from all the parts of our body.
Haemoglobin molecules in our red blood cells transport O2
3. Cells take up O2
4.circulatory system

The circulatory system transportsrespiratory gases, nutrient molecules, wastes, and

hormones throughout the bodyThese materials are carried by an intricate network of
blood vessels, which follow continuous circuits from the heart through
arteries, capillaries, and veins back to the heart. The circulatory system also regulates our
body temperature
5.lymphatic system

The lymphatic system is a system of capillaries, vessels, nodes, and other organs that
transport a fluid called lymph from the tissues as it returns to the bloodstream. The
lymphatic tissue of these organs filters and cleans the lymph of any debris, abnormal cells,
or pathogens. The lymphatic system also transports fatty acids from the intestines to the
circulatory system.
6.Nervous system

The nervous system consists of the structures and processes that make up the brain,
the spinal cord, and the peripheral nerves distributed throughout the body.
The Functions of the Nervous System:
1. Sensory Input the conduction of signals from sensory receptors
2. Integration the interpretation of the sensory signals and the formulation of
responses
3. Motor output the conduction of signals from the brain and spinal cord to
effectors, such as muscle and gland cells.
7.Endocrine system

Many of our body’s functions are controlled by the endocrine system, which consists of
glands that make and secrete regulatory chemicals called hormones.Molecular
messengers:Hormones are molecules that are secreted in one part of the body and
travel throughthe bloodstream to control what happens in another part.Endocrine
glands secrete hormones directly into thebloodstream
8.urinary system

The urinary system regulates fluids in the body. The kidneys help maintain the
amount, chemicalcomposition, and acidity of fluids. They do this by collecting
water andwasteproducts from the blood and excreting them in the form of
urine. Urine is stored in the urinary bladder before it is excreted through the
urethra
9.reproductive system

The survival of the human population is maintained by reproduction. In order

for sexual reproduction to occur, a woman’s ovaries produce ova(eggs) and
a egg has been fertilised by a sperm, it grows inside the woman’s uterus to
produce a new human being
10.immune System

. The immune system protects your body against harmful organisms, such
as bacteria and viruses. The immune system includes the lymph nodes
and an array of specialized cells that patrol your body organs and tissues
and fight invading germs. Immune cells produce many types of
specialized proteins that aid in the protective function of this system.
11.muscular system

muscular system is an organ system consisting of skeletal, smooth and cardiac

muscles. It permits movement of the body, maintains posture, and circulates
blood throughout the body.
Integumentary System

. The integument covers and protects the body and is the first line of defense
against the environment and germs. This system includes your skin, hair, nails and
sweat glands. Your skin, hair and nails are largely protective, while sweat glands
help control your body temperature and assist with waste excretion
