Limitation
The Eighth Grade Students of
SMPN 7 Tarakan.
Writing is one of language skills for the students
to practice their skill and their understanding
about something, express their ideas, emotion,
opinion, make an essay and describe something in
written form.

F. DEFINITION OF KEY TERMS Teaching writing is the process of transferring


knowledge and material about writing to the
students.

Picture word inductive model (PWIM) is a


model of teaching that use picture and word to
simulate students thinking inductively, from
specific thinking.

Population
The Eighth grade students of
SMPN 7 Tarakan in academic
year 2017/2018. It consist of
seven classes and total of the
POPULATION AND SAMPLE population is 256 students.
Sample
(Purposive sampling)
The Sample of this research is
VIII-5, it consists of 35
students.

The data has normal distribution and
homogenous, researcher Analyze the
students’ score by using Paired Sample of T-
test in SPSS 22.0
TECHNIQUE OF DATA ANALYSIS Hypothesis
Ha = T-test > T-table.

Ho = T-test < T-table
