What is the Myer Briggs Type Indicator?

■ It is a test that categorizes people into one of 16 different types of

personalities based on psychologically intensive questions.
■ Some questions asked are based on theoretical events and your reactions to
them
– This allows the test results to reflect on the person’s personalities when
presented a difficult choice.
■ Indicates psychological preferences in how people perceive and understand
the world
■ First published in 1943
