Making Reports
• Reporting Do’s
» Each Inspection Visit needs to have an Inspection report.
» Report should clearly indicate how, where and which stamps have been
used.
» Randomly selected samples should be identified uniquely and the same
should be clearly indicated in the RN/ IR.
» Always check if Inspection of Packing/ Marking/ Painting is in BV scope or
not.
» Use personal log book – each surveyor is responsible for proper
performance of the services assigned to him.
» Inspection Reports should be properly numbered.
» Laboratory Report for PTC’s should be marked as, “Visiting surveyor to
check for requirement of code”.
