the municipal court building to contain the city courts in one half of the
building and police administrative functions in the other half.
Program elements in the Civic Center should draw people to the site
during and beyond work hours.
A civic centre in the context of the city of Nagpur , is quite essential given the fact
that the city is characterised by a diverse culture and vibrant social life.
Moreover other short comings in the city of Nagpur can be counter balanced by the
fact that it lacks certain typology of public buildings like libraries, museums etc.
The site location also calls for more administrative buildings for public convenience
in terms of municipal and government related works.

Natural textures and colours
Large windows to let in lots of sunlight
Floor plans are open , Unnecessary internal walls removed
The negative spaces around the structure are part of the design
