you?
When in class you should…
1. Respect the teacher and each other
2. Have a positive attitude
3. Work to the best of your ability
You are being rude and disrespectful
if…
• You are talking whilst the teacher is talking
• You are talking when someone is asking or
answering a question
• You laugh or make fun of someone – we all
make mistakes (even the teacher!!!)
Be prepared
• Bring your history book to every lesson
• Have your planner on your desk to note down
homework
• Have a pen, pencil, ruler, rubber and pencil
sharpener with you for every lesson
• (You may also bring scissors, glue and
coloured pens or pencils – but the teacher will
give you these if you need them)
Your history book
• Name, Form, Subject, Teacher’s Name
• Keep your book clean and free of graffiti
• Handwriting needs to be clear and neat
• Dates, titles and side-headings MUST be
underlined
• Write in blue or black ink
Learning Contract for History
• I will respect my teacher and classmates at all
times
• I will have a positive attitude to learning
• I will work to the best of my ability in every
lesson
