Personal life
• Subrata Roy is the Chairman and Managing Worker of the India
based Sahara Group of companies

• His journey with the Sahara Group began in 1978

• It also sponsors the Indian cricket and hockey teams and intends to
move into life insurance, housing finance, consumer products,
sportswear, and healthcare

• Subrata Roy’s Sahara Group claims to own an estimated 33,000 acres

of real estate across India. Besides this, the Amby Valley Project has
separate property holdings

• The Sahara Group has undertaken a very prestigious and ambitious

property project called Amby Valley Project that has incorporated
some of the biggest stars associated with Olympics

• Written two books 'Shanti, Sukh & Santushti’ and ‘Maan, Samman,
Atmasamman’ on the philosophy of life
