Objective
The main aim of this experiment is to control the speed of the BLDC
Motor by using FPGA controller. The Novel Controller is modelled and
verified by using Fuzzy Logic.
Experimental verification is carried out by using Field-Programmable
Gate Arrays to validate it.
In order to utilized variable voltage inputs, (12V or 30V DC) Buck Boost
Converter is used.
To arrive at sensor less operation, Motor Back emf taken from the BLDC
motor and LC filter and Zero correction Unit used to arrive the square
wave form. And the same will be fed to the FPGA Controller.

Comparison between Existing &
Proposed Method
1 3Phase AC supply is used for Main input. DC Voltage is used for Main Input
5 Speed feedback is taken from the BLDC motor But here we are using Back emf to arrive the speed feedback.
Advantages over the Existing Method
Variable DC voltage can be given to the system, and Buck Boost converter is used to the feed the constant output
1
voltage.
2 Fuzzy Logic is used to write the coding for FPGA converter, Hence it will be more reliable than earlier methods.
3 Compare to Microcontroller IC, FPGA controller is more reliable and it has more I/O pins in it
4 We can use this with Solar energy, because we have buck boost converter in the system.
