Introduction:
The mall of Lahore is a large, state of art multipurpose

shopping mall complex in Lahore consisting of wide

range of outlets. The shopping centre is a project of real

estate company Bahria Town. Its total area is 60,000

square meter (650,000 sq ft)

Marble is a metamorphic rock composed of re crystallized

Small square pieces were made of marble and with that
designing were done on the floor by joining the pieces.
Different coloured marbles were used.

A tough tile is made of cement and some other


binding material in which colour is added.

Glass 1

For making tables and as making of bench, racks for
displaying items,

Plaster of Paris

A white powdery slightly hydrated calcium sulfate


CaSO4·¹/₂H2O or 2CaSO4·H2O made by calcining gypsum and
used chiefly for casts and molds in the form of a quick-setting
paste with water

Plaster of Paris was as a protective coating on walls and
ceilings.
It was also used for fall ceiling.
Plaster of Paris was used wall art or for making different kind
of designs.
Metal 1

A solid material which is typically hard, shiny, malleable,


fusible, and ductile, with good electrical and thermal
conductivity (e.g. iron, gold, silver, and aluminium, and alloys
such as steel).

were made of steel,
Symbol of mall of Lahore was also made with steel each
letter was made of steel e.g. M, A, L etc.

Aluminium

It is chemical element of atomic number 13, a light


silvery-grey metal.

Iron 1

A strong magnetic silvery-grey metal. The chemical element


of atomic number 26, much used as a material for
construction and manufacturing, especially in the form of
steel.

Iron bars were used for the construction of building, beams
and for pillars.
Iron barriers were used for the security.
Tire killer were made of iron.
Main or entrance gate was made if iron. Grills were made
up of iron.
