• Bentuk cacing panjang dan bersegmen
• Cuticle of the body berfungsi untuk membawa
makanan (no digestive system)
• Hewan hermaphroditic.
• The adult worm terdiri dari 3 bagian: Head (scolex),
neck and strobilla
• Head or scolex : menempel pada usus menggunakan
muscular suckers and crown of hooks (rostellum)
 General characters
• Strobilla: Terdiri dari 3 type segmen (i)
immature segments dekat regio kepala (ii)
mature segments mempunyai 2 organs sex
and organ reproduction (iii) gravid segments
menyimpan hasil fertilisasi
• Eggs : berbentuk hexacanth embryo
• The worms have intermediate host except
