Invitation for Tenders
Invitation for Tenders (IFT)
A Kumasi-based car dealer wishes to build a house to befit his current status as a
president of the car dealers association, and has engaged consultants to prepare
architectural, structural and services engineering drawings of the house to be build on
a plot of land situated at Kokoben Appeadu. Tender is therefore open to all Tenderers
from eligible sources as defined in the Guidelines of the Public procurement Board of
the open competitive tendering.

Tenders shall be valid for a period of 120 days after Tender opening and
must be accompanied by bid security of 2% of tender price or its
equivalent in a convertible currency, and shall be delivered to the address
specified below on or before 26th February, 2016 at 10.00 a.m. at which
time they will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers who wish to
attend.

The period of Tender validity shall be 120 days after the deadline for Tender

The adjustment of Tender price in accordance with Clause 15.3 shall be
calculated on the basis of an annual increase for foreign costs of Zero
percent and an annual increase for local costs of hundred percent.
The Standard Form of Performance Security acceptable to the Employer shall be:

The Advance Payment shall be limited to Fifteen percent (15%) of the Contract Price.

RECOMMENDATION
On the basis of the evaluation (outlined in the
attached Report), which was carried out in
accordance with the requirements of the Tender
Document, we recommend accepting the tender
of the lowest evaluated tenderer, M/S HAABKIT
VENTURES LIMITED, which has been determined
as qualified and capable of performing the
Contract and the following provisions:
• At a Contract price of Nine Hundred and Forty Four
thousand, Sixty-Seven and Ghana Cedis, Seventy
Ghana Pesewas (Gh¢ 944,067.70).
The contract to be executed within a construction period
of twelve (12) calendar months.
That the contract is subject to Price Adjustment.
That the Contractor will procure Contractor’s all Risk
Insurance Cover That the Contractor will procure
Performance Security for the works
That the Contractor will submit Program of works within
Fourteen (14) Days of delivery of the Letter of
