1. Objective of the Technical Standard
• The purpose of this standard is to compile best practices and potential improvements
relative to safety and hazard prevention issues from the different activities carried out
in the group.

Appendix 3 establishes the minimum number of learning items to complete:

The minimum numbers of learning items (lessons learned or best practices) to be sent to
the established mailbox are as follows:

Regardless of the type of learning to be developed, learning items shall always be


generated for:
 All serious, very serious and fatal accidents.
 All serious and very serious incidents.
 Any activity that results in suspension of work for safety reasons.

Appendix 4 establishes the communication channels:

 Friday: Learning items related to everyday life and weekend activities shall be

Lessons learned and best practices shall be coded in the following manner:

Appendix 5 defines coding of Abbreviation of the two digits representing the country where the lesson

Abbreviation of six digits that indicates, in the first four digits, the year of
200000 the lesson learned/best practice and, in the last two digits, its sequential
number in the year.
NEG Business and/or activity where the lesson learned/best practice originated

The coding shall be used in both the filename and in the reference section that appears at the
bottom of the form. The abbreviations to be used are listed below.
