INTRODUCTION

 Human resource is the management of people within the organisations and


focusing on policies of the organisations
Human resource practices are functional activities and strategic plans that
enable improved services to employees and increased profitability for the
employer.
Employee is influenced by the practices likely Employee Security, Selective
hiring, Team working, Performance-related pay, Training and development
Communication
Impact of HRM practices is always interrelated to the employee loyalty which
increases the organisation performance
REVIEW OF LITERATURE

Several literature Journals from the


period of 1992 to 2017 has been
referred in order to get a clear insight
about the influence of HRM
practices on employee performance
in the organisation.
 To identify the HRM dimensions
 To study the impact of identified HRM dimensions on
employee loyalty and work engagement
 To investigate the relationship between HRM practices
on employee loyalty
 To identify highly perceived HRM practices among the
employees of the organisations
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The research attempts to find the influence of HRM practices on employee


loyalty. In current scenario every organisations face the difficulties regarding
employee commitment, retention and belief towards the organisation which
results in increasing employee turnover.

Hence the study attempts to find the solution for;

How do HRM practices influence employee loyalty?


 What are the HRM practices are positively related to employee retention and
to reduce turnover?
How do influence of HRM practices like employee loyalty and work
engagement enhance the organisational performance ?
RESEARCH GAP

Even though several studies has been conducted with


regard to impact of HRM practices on employee
loyalty most of the studies has been conducted in
western perspective. Only limited studies has been
conducted in Indian perspective. Therefore the
researcher intent to study the influences of HRM
practices on customer loyalty.
SAMPLING TECHNIQUES

Since , sample frame is not available the


researcher adopted systematic random sampling
method for collecting data from the employees .

Before distributing the questionnaire to the
respondent the researcher performed the content
validity of the questionnaire.

This exercise was done after discussing with the


supervisor of the researcher.
DATA COLLECTION
The researcher adapted questionnaire method for
collecting data from the respondents. The
questionnaire consists of three important
components

The first part of questionnaire deals with


demographic profile of respondent

The second part of questionnaire covers variables


relating to HRM practices.

Third part of the questionnaire deals with work


engagement and employee loyalty. The employee
have been asked to express their opinion at five
point scale.
