Artificial Resuscitation

In the absence of normal breathing, artificial


respiration is needed to ventilate the lungs in
an attempt to restore the normal function of
the lungs / to put oxygen into the blood
stream and remove carbon dioxide from the
blood stream.

CPR is an emergency procedure
applied when heart and lung action
has stopped.
Purpose of C P R
•Is To Maintain An Open Air Way
• Supply Breath To The Casualty
• Force The Casualty Heart To Circulate The Blood.

Any cut in the outer surface of the body is a


wound or impairment in the blood vessels.

Wounds are of two types:

CLOSED (mostly head injuries)

Wash with water

Cover with any clean thing

Don’t apply any lotion except


diluted mercurochrome Tincture
Iodine etc.

Use disinfectant sprays if available
