HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
The hardware for the system is selected considering the factors such as
CPU processing speed, memory access speed, peripheral channel speed,
printer speed, seek time & relational delay of hard disk and communication
speed etc. The hardware specifications are as follows:
Processor : Pentium IV 2.40GHz
RAM : 2 GB
Hard Disk : 40 GB
Key Board : Standard IOS Keys
Printer : Dot Matrix
Floppy Disk : 1.44 MB FDD
CD ROM : LG 52x
Monitor : 14” color monitor
Mouse : Index Optical Mouse
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
The software for the project is selected considering the factors such as
working front end environment, flexibility in the coding language, Database
knowledge of enhances in Backend technology etc.
.
Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP
Front End : Visual Basic .Net 2010
Web Technology : ASP.NET
Back End : MS-SQLSERVER 2000
SYSTEM ANALYSIS
System analysis is a detailed study of the various operations
performed by a system and their relationship within and outside of
the system. The question is: what must be done to solve the
problem? One aspect of analysis is defining the boundaries of the
system and determining whether or not a candidate system
should consider other related system.

Modules:
•AUTHENTICATION
•TRANSACTION MODULE
•DEPOSIT MODULE
•WITHDRAW MODULE
•CHECK BALANCE
AUTHENTICATION
The authentication module plays a main role in the ATM
simulation, such that the authentication gives here, for finger print
analysis of member, such that the finger print has been
recognized of a certain person. Already the matching patterns are
given in database, through the matching patterns, it has been
matched with specified id it gives the authentication.
TRANSFER MODULE
The transactions that a bank customer can conduct through the ATMs
(Automated Teller Machines), by inserting or swiping the card and entering the
PIN, include withdrawal of money, deposits, fund transfer, bill payments,
checking account details etc. The security of ATM transactions relies mostly on
the integrity of the secure cryptoprocessor: the ATM often uses general
commodity components that sometimes are not considered to be "trusted
systems".
DEPOSIT MODULE
Deposit mechanism including a Check Processing Module and Bulk Note
Acceptor (to allow the customer to make deposits) prepared an envelope or
deposit slip. Figure out what you need to do with them before you put your card
in the machine (and hold up the line). Some banks do not require that you use a
deposit slip or envelope when making ATM deposits.
WITHDRAW MODULE
In order to give customers access to cash, customers may be allowed to
withdraw cash up to a certain amount that may be less than their usual daily
withdrawal limit, but may still exceed the amount of available money in their
accounts, which could result in fraud if the customers intentionally withdraw
more money than what they had in their accounts.
CHECK BALANCE
LOGICAL DESIGN
The logical design of a system pertains to an abstract representation of
the data flows, inputs and outputs of the system. This is often conducted via
modelling, using an over-abstract (and sometimes graphical) model of the
actual system. In the context of systems design are included. Logical design
includes ER Diagrams.
