& Mapping
Is there a secret to productivity?
YES there is. And it is by far the biggest secret to being the
most productive version of yourself.
T h a t s e c r e t- s a u c e o f p r o d u c t i v i t y is EFFICIENT PLANNING.
There are so many ways to set goals and plan. And I know it can
b e e x h a u s t i n g t o try d i f f e r e n t w a y s u n t i l you fi n d o n e t h a t i s
effe ctive.
M y g o a l i s t o h a n d yo u my s ys t e m t h a t I b e l i e v e w i l l g e t yo u o n
track of taking action on your goals, get rid of overwhelm,
procrastination and other time -wasters that are currently drain -
i n g y o u r e n e r g y.
I assure you, the few minutes that you will spend on planning
out your goals will help you save COUNTLESS HOURS later,
Insha’Allah.

STEP 1 MY G OALS BUCKET GOAL JARS
Write down everything you want to achieve in
life with the help of Allah. At this point, just ISLAM
jot down all your goals. Don’t worry about the
order of priority or deadlines etc.
WORK/ STU DY
A) IMPOR TANCE
Divide your goals on the basis of importance.
B) TIME
Divide your goals on the basis of urgency/ deadlines.
c) Write down all the ways in which you currently spend your time. All the
things that occupy most of your time presently.
d) MY top-priority goals list
List 5 goals that are MOST important to you right NOW. These are the goals that
you should be spending most of your time and energy on. If you are currently
spending time on things other than those on this list, it means you need to
eliminate the unessential activities to make room for your top priorities.
This is your MOST IMPORTANT list. Whenever you forget your priorities, refer
back to this list.
Before we move on to the next part of this lesson, you need to identify where you
are in terms of planning and where you want to be. If you already ARE a goal-digger
committed to taking action, then you are on top of your game!
But if you are any other type of goal -setter, then don’t worry! I’ll show you how to
become a goal-digger by sharing the whole process with you in the NEXT part....

Pick up the first mini -goal from the mini -goals list, and create a TASK -LIST for that
mini-goal. After you have completed all the tasks for your first mini -goal, move over
to the next mini -goal and create a task-list for it. This will ensure you
complete each and every one of the mini -goals in a systemized manner, ultimately
leading towards completion of the BIG goal.

Par t # 3: G OAL Mapping
MAPPING means you will place your mini-goals & tasks over period of
time using the MONTH LY, WEEK LY and DAI LY planning systems. This is
by far the MOST important aspect of a balanced productive life- Using
systems that take you from one goal to another smoothly in an energy
flow rather than energy sprints.

In this step, you will pick out the "tasks" from your MINI -GOAL TASK LIST and start
plugging them in your weekly planner. This will provide a clear structure to your
entire week and allow you to work on each of the tasks without overwhelm.
WEEK LY SCHEDULE
In order to figure out your MI Ts, you can use the same prioritization
procedure that we used above for goal -setting. Your MI Ts are
basically all the NEED-TO-DO tasks that are urgent/ have a dead -
line.
