face-to-face communication:

38% by the tone of voice

 Reciprocalconversation between two or
more entities
 Sending and receiving wordless messages
through gestures, body language or posture;
facial expression and eye contact; object
communication such as clothing, hairstyles,
or symbols and infographics
 Conveyance of ideas and information that
can be read or looked upon primarily through
two dimensional images such as signs,
typography, drawing, graphic design,
illustration, color and electronic resources
 Facilitator
supports the hand or arm of a
communicatively impaired individual by using
a keyboard or other devices with the aim of
helping to develop pointing skills and to
communicate
 Communication through graphics and
graphical aids
 Focuses on two (2) things:
1. honest self-expression – exposing what
matters to oneself in a way that’s likely to
inspire compassion in others
2. empathy – listening with deep compassion
