Voice
is the quality of a verb that shows
whether the subject is the doer or
receiver of the action. It has two types;
the active and passive voice.
ACTIVE VOICE- is used to indicate that the
subject of the sentence is the doer of the
action.
Example:
The boy kicked the ball.
S V O

A student wrote the winning essay.

Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone.
The chef prepared a delicious meal.
PASSIVE VOICE- is created when the subject
is acted upon.

EXAMPLE:
The ball was kicked by the boy.

 The winning essay was written by a student.

 The Telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell.
A delicious meal was prepared by the chef.
 EXERCISE:
