Internal stakeholders: Individuals or groups within the project and the
corporation

–sponsors

External stakeholders: Individuals, groups or institutions outside the


corporation that may influence the outcome of the project or may be
influenced by it

–Financial Interfaces
–Government Interfaces

Stakeholders Identification
(Types)
Primary Stakeholders: People or groups who are ultimately impacted either
positively (beneficiaries) or negatively (such as people who may feel they have
something to lose as a result of a particular decision or project, such as power or
access to resources)

Secondary Stakeholders: People or groups who have a role in the decision-


making process without being directly affected by the outcome. These are
usually intermediaries

 Key Stakeholders: Those who can significantly influence a project, or who are
critical to the success of a project
