The biggest problem on Earth is the overpopulation and it

causes many problems in what concerns the environment. Then we

will see what we can do to change this situation.
 The main cause of pollution is overpopulation, because it’s for
that reason the Earth is getting worse, year after year. Because there
are too many people in the world and they don’t care about the
environment, they are over polluting it.
 China is the perfect example of overpopulation, because it is a
country that has a lot of people living in it. China has a lot of problems
with pollution, because there are many people living there and they
produce more waste, they need more buildings, more food and all these
things will contribute to increase pollution. But the biggest problem is
that it happens not only in China but also in other countries.
 All the people living on Earth need to have access to all the things
they need. For example, we need more cars, and that means that we are
going to burn more oil, do more drilling, causing more noise pollution
and we are going to have less fossil fuels. So we are spending natural
resources too fast.
 People need houses, so we need more buildings and having that
means that we are going to cut down more trees which is going to
contribute to the deforestation, to have less green spaces, less clean
air and more respiratory problems.
 Year after year, we are having less green spaces, it means that we
are going to have less habitats for animals and the consequence of
that is we are going to have more endangered species.
 Because more people produce more waste, it means that we
are going to have more landfills and more air and water polluted.
That is going to influence the quality of the air that we breath, in
other words is going to screw that up.
 More people need more food, it means that we need to
produce more food. For that, we need to create more farms, use
more pesticides in ours croplands and the consequence of that is
that we are going to pollute the soil. We are also going to need to
fish more ant that is going to contribute to the overfishing.
 So the overpopulation is the main cause of pollution, because it
contributes to noise pollution, air pollution, soil pollution and also
deforestation.
 To change the bad situation that we are in, we should do
some things to protect the environment such as save water,
protect the endangered species, buy biological products,
recycle as much as we can and use clean energy.
 To solve the overpopulation problem we can do some things
that may help, such as give a better education to the people that
live in less developed countries, make people aware of family
planning and also teach those people some knowledge of sex
education. Those things will contribute to minimize the
overpopulation problem. Therefore, if we minimize the
overpopulation problem, we are helping the environment already.
 So we can conclude that the Earth must be protected
and so has the environment, because we need to live in it
and we also need to be careful with our actions.
