This is the path to the local SAP system instance

The mount directory is used for shared files


between all hosts in an SAP HANA system.

The following paths apply when the SAP HANA studio is installed:
/hana/shared/<SID>/hdbstudio_update - The studio repository

Partition Considerations

You will need at least 4 partitions:

 Linux root (p1) should be >= 72GB

 Installation of SAP HANA and SAP Business One products (p2) >=80 GB

 SAP HANA data management (p3) 3 x system memory

 SAP HANA log management (p4) 1 x system memory

Partition Considerations – mount points

Assign mounting points, as below:

 p1 = /

 p2 = /hana/shared

 p3 = /hana/data

 p4 = /hana/log

 All partitions must be formatted as ext3

 The appropriate SAP HANA platform software can be downloaded from the SAP Business One Software
Download Center under the path : Updates  SAP B1 VERSION FOR SAP HANA  SAP B1 9.1 FOR SAP
HANA  SAP HANA PLATFORM EDITION.

NOTE: Check the appropriate B1 patch level overview note for the supported SAP HANA revision information.

 Check the SAP Business One Administrator's Guide, version for SAP HANA for more information

 SAPCAR is required to extract the archives for the SAP HANA Platform components. Information on
extracting .SAR archives can be found in SAP Note:1732990.

 As of SAP HANA revision 85, the SAP HANA SERVER is downloaded as a multi-spanning TAR archive.
Please look at SAP Note:2023163:

NOTE: The SAP_HANA_CLIENT archives that extract as a default via the SAPCAR utility, will ALL extract to
SAP_HANA_CLIENT folder.
