Basic Use of Adjectives and Adverbs

Adjectives Describe nouns and pronouns


Adverbs Describe verbs, adjectives, other adverbs

Example:
She is a beautiful woman.

She is a truly beautifully dressed woman.

Adjectives and Adverbs After Linking Verbs

Position of Adjectives and Adverbs

directly after.
Adverbs Can appear in many positions, but cannot appear
