  B/O Sonia (Male) – Admitted on 15th Mar at 07:30 AM
through ER on his 2nd day of life after SVD at home at term
gestation  Baby was gasping, cyanosed, in bradycardia with
O2 - 20%  Weight - 2.5 kg  OFC – 35 cm  Dx made of EOS
 Resuscitation done, ETT passed, suction and clearance of
ETT done, secretions contained aspirated milk. Ambo-bagging
done with oxygen inhalation for 30 seconds. Patient did not
improve  Chest compressions started with Ambo-bagging in
ratio of 3:1. Patient did not improve  0.3 ml Adrenaline given
 Resuscitation continued for 20 min, baby became pulseless,
pupils dilated fixed, resuscitation stopped. Death declared at
08:15 AM
Mortality

  B/O Farhat (Female) – Admitted in NNU on 21st Mar at
06:15 PM through ER on her 1 st day of life after SVD at 38+4
weeks in labour room of GTHS due to passage of meconium 
Baby was meconium stained, cyanosed, in bradycardia with
no respiratory effort  Weight - 2.2 kg  Dx made of MAS 
Resuscitation done, ETT passed, suction and clearance of ETT
done. Ambo-bagging done with oxygen inhalation for 30
seconds. Patient did not improve  Chest compressions
started with Ambo-bagging in ratio of 3:1. Patient did not
improve  0.2 ml Adrenaline given  Resuscitation continued
for 20 min, baby became pulseless, pupils dilated fixed,
resuscitation stopped. Death declared at 07:00 PM
Mortality

 B/O Kulsoom (Male) – Admitted in NNU on 15th Mar via EM-OT
on his 1 st day of life after EMLSCS at 31 weeks with maternal
history of pre-eclempsia and PROM for > 24 Hours  At birth,
baby had delayed cry and cyanosed  Resuscitation done, ETT
passed, suction and clearance of ETT done. Ambo-bagging done
with oxygen inhalation for 30 seconds. Patient was revived but was
in severe respiratory distress  RR – 80 / min with chest
indrawings and O2 sat – 82 %  Anthropometric Measurements of
Wt = 1 kg, Length – 40 cm, HC- 32 cm  Dx: Pre-maturity with EOS
 Patient remained for 6 days in NNU, treatment given was: 
Incubator Care  O2 Inhalation  IV Fluids  IV Antibiotics  But
there was no improvement  On 21st Mar, patient expired at 03:50
AM due to Cardiopulmonary Arrest
