INTRODUCTION

Knowledge of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) like


Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune
Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) as link to gender and human
sexuality issues is particularly significant for one’s sexuality
as significant factor to the optimum development of family
health. Prevailing norms and standards of society relative to
gender and human sexuality have greatly influenced the
important growing implications for the HIV and AIDS
challenge.
