Niels
Bohr?
Niels Henrik David Bohr (Danish:
[nels ˈpoɐ̯ˀ]; 7 October 1885 – 18
November 1962) was a Danish physicist
who made foundational contributions to
understanding atomic structure and
quantum theory, for which he received
the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922.
(Niels Bohr)
He knew that any charged
particles that's moving is
going to be giving off
electromagnetic radiation.
(James Maxwell)
electromagnetic radiation
consists of electromagnetic waves,
which are synchronized oscillations
of electric and magnetic fields that
propagate at the speed of light,
which, in a vacuum
Electromagnetic waves of different
frequency are called by different
names since they have different
sources and effects on matter. They
are emitted by electrically charged
particles undergoing acceleration and
these waves can subsequently interact
with other charged particles, exerting
force on them.
What is
light?
Light is the really thin strand of
electromagnetic wave ranging
from 400-700 nm (300,000,000 m/s
in a vacuum)
Light is the tiny section between
the Uv and infrared.
LIGHT
Electromagnetic radiation (EM
radiation or EMR) refers to the waves (or
their quanta, photons) of the
electromagnetic field, propagating
(radiating) through space, carrying
electromagnetic radiant energy. It includes
radio waves, microwaves, infrared, (visible)
light, ultraviolet, X-rays, and gamma rays.
Radio waves are a type of
electromagnetic radiation with
wavelengths in the
electromagnetic spectrum longer
than infrared light
Microwaves are a form of
electromagnetic radiation with
wavelengths ranging from about
one meter to one millimeter; with
frequencies between 300 MHz (1
m) and 300 GHz (1 mm)
Infrared radiation (IR),
sometimes called infrared light, is
electromagnetic radiation (EMR)
with longer wavelengths than
those of visible light, and is
therefore generally invisible to the
human eye

(body-temperature thermal) light.
Ultraviolet (UV) designates a band of
the electromagnetic spectrum with
wavelength from 10 nm to 400 nm,
shorter than that of visible light but
longer than X-rays. UV radiation is
present in sunlight, and contributes
about 10% of the total output of the Sun.
UV radiation is also produced by electric
arcs. Arc welders must wear eye protection and
cover their skin to prevent photokeratitis and
serious sunburn.
X-rays make up X-radiation, a form of high-
energy electromagnetic radiation. Most X-rays
have a wavelength ranging from 0.01 to 10
nanometers
A gamma ray or gamma radiation
(symbol γ or {\displaystyle \gamma }
\gamma ), is a penetrating
electromagnetic radiation arising from
the radioactive decay of atomic nuclei. It
consists of the shortest wavelength
electromagnetic waves and so imparts
the highest photon energy.
Gamma rays are emitted during
nuclear fission in nuclear explosions
