• Finite Element formulation:-


• Consider the 4-node quadrilateral element with 7-D.O.F. per node…..
• For discrete Kirchhoff quadrilateral element , kirchhoff hypothesis is imposed
only at the nodes on the element boundary.
• θ0x, θ0y are interpolated independently but are subsequently related by imposing
the constraints at discrete points.
