Mr. Rohan Gandhi has 10 years of experience as a chief Executive of a large TV sets
manufacturing firm. He has proved to be a successful manager, under whose leadership,
the TV sets manufacturing firm has made considerable progress. He has been
appreciated for his maximum concern for both people and production in the
organisation.
Mr. Rohan Gandhi has recently joined as Chief Executive of another TV sets
manufacturing company as he was offered higher pay packet and additional facilities.
The present company is incurring heavy losses. The morale of the workers is low and
there are often conflicts between the workers and the management. Mr. Rohan Gandhi
has been entrusted with the task of revival of the company.
In the new company, Mr. Rohan Gandhi Continued his approach of having high concern
for Production as well as for people in the organisation. In order to revive the firm, he
introduced certain changes, such as employees¶ participation in Decision ± making,
Decentralization of authority and improvement in the communication system. He has
taken measures to reduce costs, and to improve efficiency by placing emphasis on
welfare facilities of the employees.
