What Can You Do To Prepare?

• Contact your Verizon Wireless Account Manager for port requests over 25
lines or VIP port requests.
• Communicate within your company that only authorized personnel are able
to make changes to your company’s accounts, including porting.
• Have your old service provider information available to ensure accuracy in
the data relayed to Verizon Wireless (i.e. copy of OSP current bill,
passwords).
• Do not cancel service with your old provider before requesting to port in to
Verizon Wireless - cancelled numbers are not eligible to be ported.
• Submit a request to OSP to remove all number blocks and passwords at both
the account level and the line level. Request a confirmation number if
applicable.
