1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 The BlueEyes Technology:
 BlueEyes, the name emphasizes the foundation of
the technology– Bluetooth and the movements of the
Eyes.

 Bluetooth provides reliable wireless communication

whereas the eye movements enable us to obtain a lot
of interesting and important information.
1.2 Features
BlueEyes system provides technical means for monitoring
and recording human-operator's physiological condition.
Key features of the system :

 Visual attention monitoring (eye motility analysis).

 Physiological condition monitoring (pulse rate, blood

oxygenation).
 Operator's position detection.

 Wireless data acquisition using Bluetooth technology.

 Physiological data, operator's voice and overall view of

the control room recording.

3.1 MAGIC POINTING
 To dynamically redefine the home position of the
pointing cursor to be at the close vicinity of the target.
 Reduce the cursor movement needed for target
selection.
 Click on the target with a regular manual input device.
 Two magic pointing techniques:
a) Liberal.
b) Conservative.
 Reduce physical effort and fatigue, greater accuracy and
naturalness.
3.2 EYE MOVEMENTS
Manual Gaze Input Cascaded (MAGIC) pointing.
Move from cursor’s current position towards new target.

LIBERAL CONSERVATIVE
4. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGIENT
SPEECH RECOGNITION
 User speaks to the computer through microphone.
 Input words are scanned and matched against internally
stored words.
 Identification causes some action to be taken.
 Binary representation become standard, against which
future are compared .
 Pattern matching is designed to look for the best fit
because of variations in loudness, pitch, frequency
difference, time gap etc.
5. APPLICATIONS
BlueEyes technology can be used :
 In retailing record and interpret customer
movements.
 In automobile industry.
 In video games.
 To create “Face Responsive Display”.
 To control weapons by voice commands.
 Pilot give commands to computers by speaking into
microphones.
5.1 BLUEEYES ENABLED DEVICES

 POD
Technology used in cars.

 PONG
A robot.
6. MERITS
 Portable.
 Low power consumption.
 Proper timing.
 Comfortable operation.
 Lightweight.
 Electrically safe.
 Standard and inexpensive ICs.
7. DEMERITS
USB web-cam should be replaced by an industrial
camera.
Does not support redirecting of the voice
connections data to the serial port.
Technique used to analyze pulse rate consume
much more CPU processing power.
8. FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS
 BlueEyes technology can be implemented in
computer training or education programs, enabling
computers to observe students' emotional state
(frustration, excitement, and so on) and just as any
good instructor, adjust information delivery
accordingly.

 Ordinary household devices -- such as televisions,

refrigerators, and ovens -- will do their jobs when we
speak to them or look at them.
9. CONCLUSION
 Provide more delicate and user friendly facilities in
computing devices.
 Gap between the electronic and physical world is
reduced.
 The computers can be run using implicit commands
instead of the explicit commands.
 It may seem to be a fiction, but in near future it will
be the life lead by “BlueEyes”.
