mangroves and associated species re-planted in their
respective areas.
Ø Provision of harvesting standards for mangrove
associated products and mechanisms to effectively
monitor such at the barangay level.
Ø Community based mangrove reforestation activities;
Ø Unwavering political will and resolve on
environmental preservation;
Ø Constant coordination with LGU and stakeholders
and NGO’s;
Ø Community organizing and education;
Ø Introduction of alternative sources of income

Pulupandan

mangrove products for livelihood

the Bago River bank
