What purusharthas says..

Human ideology that defines purusharthas

man, like other living being, act instinctively; but he can also do so deliberately. This means he can consciously set before himself ends, and work for them. It is this conscious pursuit that transforms them into purusharthas Purusharthas as an end which is consciously sought to be accomplished either for its own sake or for the sake of utilizing it as a means to the accomplishment of further end or goal

Dharma derived from Dhr means to uphold. Dharma means to uphold ones duty, to uphold

Sri Krishna explains to Arjuna --one's duty to fulfill the purpose of life

Whosoever speaks the truth is said to fulfill their Dharma. Bhishma Pitama mentions that those who are on the side of truth in the battle of Kurukshetra are on the path of Dharma

Bhishma Pitama also mentions to Yudhistira

whatever creates conflict is Adharma (antonym of Dharma), and whatever puts an end to conflict and brings about unity and harmony is Dharma. Dharma therefore means to be on the path of righteousness.
