A hotel is an organization which means to provide paid services, accommodation on temporary basis. At early time hotel was just design to provide basic accommodation which would have only a room with bed, attach toilet, cupboard, table etc. but today in this era hotel is a temporary place where one can spend luxury time by enjoying modern facilities.

Hotels In Nepal

The hotel in Nepal are classified into 5 categories (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) that are expressed in stars. The facilities provided in the first star hotel is the basis for other high rated hotels. Every additional star means that a hotel offers more facilites and services.

One star hotel

Good, simple, consisting of possibly older or dated construction architecture. Availability of appropriate parking space. Candles, kerosene, lamps are provided as backup power One medium sized meeting room and banquet hall are provided where appropriate. In kitchen, availability of minimum two sinks, hot and cold water supply, adequate shelves, etc. Minimum 15 bed rooms are required with size 156 sq. ft. including bathroom. Local mattresses are provided. Proper air circulation, lighting are maintained.
