Color Scheme
These are preset colors from the template that you have chosen OR Colors that you have already used in your presentation

This is the window where you dictate how your slide transitions to the next. The following slide describes each function.

Ordering & Timing Tab options


First you need to select the items to animate. Click on box next to item to animate Next, click on the up or down arrows to choose the order of entry for your objects Click on Preview to see your results

Check the item to animate Click on down arrow under Entry animation and sound to choose how object is to be animated

This feature lets you decide what to do after the animation

Choosing a color will change the color of the text to your choice after it appears on the screen Hide after Animation makes your selection disappear after it appeared automatically Hide on Next mouse click makes your selection disappear after it appeared on the next mouse click. This feature will not work in Kiosk Mode.

Adding Hyperlinks to Web pages


This is the easiest way to add a hyperlink Type the hyperlink you want to visit. www.sturgis.k12.mi.us Link will become active when presentation is run

Changing the order of your bullets or the slides themselves is as easy as clicking and dragging them into the correct position

From Outline Section


In Normal view move cursor to slide icon. It will turn into a crosshair arrow Click, hold and drag bullet or slide picture to correct location

Presenting Your Presentation

Choose 1 of the 3 options under Show Type
Presented by a speaker allows the presentation to run on the entire screen Browsed by an individual allows the presentation to be brought up in the PowerPoint window Browsed at a Kiosk allows user response by clicking on a button instead of advancing slides using the mouse,enter key or space bar. The next slide explains this in detail Check Loop continuously until Esc to allow your presentation to start over from the beginning automatically when it reaches the last slide. Check Show without narration if you don t want the inserted narration sound to play Check Show without animation if you don t want any of your custom animations to run

Two Steps to make any Presentation a S.T.A.I.R.

Assign Action
Select from this list of choices Mouse Click tab is the action assigned when someone clicks on the button Mouse Over tab is the action assigned when the mouse moves over the button. Move your mouse to this tab to view a demonstration

This would be great for younger kids who dont have full control of the mouse

Select the blank button Button Drag it over text or object you wish to create a link Paint can determines button color choose No fill Paint brush determines line color choose No fill
